9SiCr steel belongs to alloy tool steel. It is an alloy steel with a small amount of alloy elements added to carbon tool steel. Its average carbon content is 0.9%. The main alloy elements are chromium and silicon, and their contents are all below 1.5%. 9SiCr steel has high strength, hardness and wear resistance. At the same time, it has high hardenability during heat treatment, fine grains in the internal structure of the material, and good fatigue resistance. It is one of the good materials suitable for roll manufacturing.
